Faux Leather Mini

Ever since reading this post from Cupcakes and Cashmere, I've been on the lookout for a faux leather skirt.

I have a vintage butterscotch leather skirt I got in high school that yes, I still wear, but I was more on the prowl for a black faux leather mini.

I recently ordered both of these at Forever21.com. For these prices, I figured I might as well order both and see if either works!

Thanks to my fashionista friends Rebecca and the newly-engaged Anna McKissack, I am in la-la-love with my Kendra Scott Danielle earrings.

They're so pretty, the perfect size and seem to match anything and everything.

I have the Danielle earrings in a rose color, but I recently bought them in blue onyx as well--I couldn't resist!!

The Trench Coat

I got a beige cotton-blend Mossimo trench coat from Target last year that I. LOVE. I don’t know WHY it took me so long to realize how much of a staple a trench really is, but in the South, it’s the perfect lightweight layer and the classic look and clean lines help to polish off any ensemble.

I wear my trench with everything and love to roll up the sleeves to add a trendy touch. Another major bonus of a Target trench coat? Machine washable. Ah-maze.

If you don’t already have a trench, you must buy one. Below are some less expensive options followed by some fancier options for those of you big spenders.
