1) Breakfast request from the husband - crescent rolls filled with nutella and bananas and rolled in powdered sugar. Lethal!

2) Exploring the beautiful silver that was given to us from my husband's family. This collection was Christian's grandmother's, who wanted him to have it since he is named after her. Lucky for me, Mem had great taste! The more I learn about her, the more fabulous I realize she was.
4) Heart-shaped oven roasted sweet potatoes to garnish some cheesy-bacon-ranch mashed potatoes for the guy.
5) Packing for a weekend trip to celebrate Valentine's weekend and the day we got engaged one year ago. Fun fact: on Valentine's Day of 2008 my mega-crush, the soon to be nicknamed CHBoo, asked me to be his valentine. Swoon.
For those of you who know Christian - he thought talking = flirting, so this direct expression of romantic interest was earth-shattering to my 19-year-old self.
