Christian and I recently took a little day trip to Los Angeles.  We live less than an hour away, yet we rarely go into the city. Orange County has most of the same shopping and dining, so we usually end up staying in our little area.  I would love to get to know LA more though and love any opportunity to explore.

While we were walking along Rodeo we dropped in this little shopping area, Rodeo Collection, and I loved the layout and design.  It truly amazes me how close LA and Orange County are and yet how completely different they are.  I am grateful for the chance to explore both and look forward to coming into the city for more than just concerts.  I would love to hear about any of your recommendations!

  1. My roommate lives in Orange County and we love taking trips down there (we go to school in SF) once or twice a year to chill out both in OC and in LA! Have you heard of Cafe Rio in Orange County yet? It’s a huge thing in Utah, but it’s amazing… go, and get the pork barbacoa salad with the green tomatillo sauce. IT CHANGED MY LIFE.

    1. I haven’t been to Cafe Rio – I must try! Thank you so much for the suggestion – I love it!!! XOXO

  2. Such a cute look! I’m moving from San Diego up to Orange County in a few months and I’d love to get the scoop on all the different areas and best places to shop/eat/live!

  3. Seriously, you look like a million bucks! Loving this look, head to toe. I only drive into LA for concerts too, ha. Why is that? Every time I spend a weekend in the city I ask myself why I don’t spend more time there.

    XO
